I am a frequent traveler and needed something that would turn my Ipad2 into a mini laptop for use on the planes, Airports, etc. After a week long search on the net, I finally choose this case. With only two reviews, it seemed like a risk, but this case has proven what it can do.. What I like about it the most, is that I can remove the keyboard, keep it anywhere and it would type, the connectivity is great, you dont need to go through lots of clicks, just turn it on, and it is working.. love the way of its stable standing.. A total bargain for the price....

Does the keyboard and carrying case lend oneself to typing with the Ipad positioned on their lap? Specifically, I would like to be able to type while a passenger in a car during a long trip.

It is slightly wobbly but works absolutely fine. I just tested it on my office chair before replying to your comment to make sure it worked! Also, I had an issue with the keyboard, it stopped charging after a while and wouldn't keep the charge for long. After sending an e-mail directly to the company followed by a phone call, I got a completely new set (case and keyboard) as replacement for free.. Their customer service is fantastic...

Update: I had a small issue with charging and connectivity of the Keyboard. The keyboard would often not turn on or seemed like it was out of charge. This might have happened because of traveling and pressing it in the luggage, etc.. Upon return to the US, I talked to the company and they immediately replaced it with full set (key board and the case). Their Customer Service is wonderful.
