This review is from: Vornado Flippi V6 Personal Circulator, Passion (Red) (Kitchen)i typically keep my office door shut to be more productive during the day. door shut = stuffy, hot office. i needed a fan desperately. i tried two different fans i already had but they didn't work out - one was too beat up and ugly and the other was too big. they were both too loud.
i looked around, read some reviews and decided to order a vornado. it sounds like the brand has a good name, and the fan itself is really cool looking. i actually ordered the zippi fan (with the cloth arms), but received the flippi instead! i was a little distressed because i had read that the flippi wasn't a good product, made too much noise, etc. well, those reviews are WRONG. it is a great fan and i'm glad i got it instead.
i have the fan on low right now, about two feet away, and it is 100% silent and doing it's job. i feel a nice, cool breeze. i just turned it to high and it is not too loud for my office use (if you were in a cube it might be) and the air output is really incredible for such a small machine. my question to these other reviewers is how much air do you want blowing on you at one time and why is $25.00 an unreasonable price point for a fan?
it is a little awkward to turn on and off, and requires two hands. also, the on/off dial on the base is plastic and feels a little bit flimsy. this is why i'm giving it 4 stars. but who knows? it could last forever. we will just have to see.
honestly, for the cool factor of its design, the color choices and its performance, i don't think you can beat it. i would buy another one for sure.

Yes! I don't see what others are complaining about. if they want more wind that is even louder than this flippi on low, get a bigger fan and put it on low. Walmart sells a honeywell, for the same price (15), but bigger.
This fan is great... if you want such a small fan.
It is quieter on low than the many other small fans I tried.
i also bought a larger fan (he honeywell mentioned earlier) that works great, looks like a bigger vornado for the same price, but sometimes I don't want that much wind.
i bought two flippi's, one for te kitchen and one for the bedroom, because it's so quiet and it wont disturb my sleep.
i'm getting another for the desk and turning up the ac a bit... maybe will get two or three more!
Target sells it for <15 bucks
This is a personal fan. If you need more air, get abigger fan.
Thanks M Bush for an intelligent review!
