Great idea, but needs a better book,
This review is from: What God Wants for Christmas [With Book] (Misc. Supplies)
I used this during my family's worship time during the Christmas season. My kids (3yr olds) absolutely loved doing it each night, and seeing a new character each night.
What you have here is a nativity that folds out like a pop-up book. Then you have seven boxes:
4) Baby Jesus
6) Wise Man
7) Mirror (Representing yourself)
Each night you are to open a new box and read something out of the book about the character. Unfortunately the book is a let down as you don't get into any of the real detail the Bible would provide you. It's also not a story to read, but more of a poem for each night. Two or three pages of rhyming for each character.
Other than the book, this was great to do with our children! They loved it, and when we got through all the days, we could use the figurines to read the real Christmas story and act it out. I'd definitely suggest picking this up for your family!
