4.0 out of 5 stars one is soft, the other is coarse, April 1, 2012

This review is from: Dockers Men's 4 Pack Fly Front Full Rise Brief, White (Apparel)
The Size 34 briefs I ordered were just what everyeone else said: very soft fabric and comfortable fit. In fact, they're the only briefs I've found that are soft.

Indeed, I also got some Size 32 briefs to see if I liked a snugger fit (not!). To my dismay, it was not the same soft cotton. It was more coarse. The tag was white instead of beige, and the flap part immediately folded over after washing, whereas the Size 34 tags have held their shape (and, surprisingly, are not uncomfortable).

Both say they are made in Thailand, and the construction is otherwise identical.

*MARCH 2014 UPDATE*
I ordered some more size 34, and they were similar to the other 34'S, and I am satisfied with them. After two years, the 34's are holding up pretty well. There's a small amount of pilling on the brushed-cotton waistbands, but not bad, not nearly as bad as Hanes, for example.

I leave the 32's at the bottom of the stack, only to be used in case I run out of the others! The 32's have softened up with numerous washings. I cut off the part of the tag that flaps over: an odd design, IMHO.

Do you mind a follow-up review, since you indicated you'd test the fabric once more?
