must buy DVD,
This review is from: WWE: WrestleMania XXVI (Three-Disc Collector's Edition) (DVD)
If you are planning to buy WWE Wrestle Mania 26 dvd then the collector's edition dvd pack is the only one you should get largely because it is this collectors edition that has the FULL UNEDITED HALL OF FAME CEREMONY where as the other versions all have a shorter, edited version of that ceremony. Other than that the collectors edition also has the Raw and Smackdown shows in full after WM26 + some great matches of the Hall of Fame inductees and the Wm 26 battle royal which was not shown on ppv.
This dvd pack is priced the same as the normal edition so why spend money on something that doesnt offer any significant value when for nearly the same price, you can get a collectors edition pack with all the value able freebies.

The Raw & SD episodes are the ones days before Wrestlemania 26 (3/22 & 3/26) not after. also they're only going to be availible on the Blu-Ray edition whenever it gets released and not on the DVD version. it's a Blu-Ray exclusive for the Blu-Ray version of Wrestlemania 26.

I won't deny that the collector's edition is a better purchase, but where do you get that they are priced the same?

do the Raw & SD episodes that are included on this collector's edition contain Shawn Michaels farewell/thanking the fans speech?

Blu-Ray only and no. the ones included are the 3/22 Raw episode and the 3/26 Smackdown episode. why they did'nt include Shawn Michaels farewell speech?...your guess is as good as mine. i have no clue how they could be this stupid and not include it. that's the first extra i expected to make it on here. not cool.

well i don't really care about the hall of fame that much... and since it doesn't have shawn michaels farewell speech and all the cool promos leading up to the event, then i guess the 2 disc version is for me. they'll probably put the farewell on the best of raw 2010 when that comes out in a year.

I was in AZ for both Wrestlemania and RAW. Highly disappointed that the raw from after Wrestlemania isnt included. But overall a great collection and if you were at WM26 you should buy this.

Does anyone else think Amazon is kind of misleading for clumping dvd and blu-ray reviews together under the same product heading? To the untrained eye, it looks like this review, being the leading positive review (currently), is actually saying you should get the dvd over the blu ray edition (not the author's intent, but when reading this as a review of the blu-ray, that's totally how it comes off.) Amazon, for shame. Blu-rays have different features than dvds.
