I already reviewed these in the 12 pack set, but since I loved them enough to buy buy a bigger pack I figured I'd point out the color differences for those who may be debating about which size package to get as there really are differences...
Here is what you get in a 12 pack vs a 24: 12 = Cherry, Tangerine, Sun Yellow, Apple Green, Leaf Green, Teal Green, Sea Blue, Deep Indigo, Fuchsia, Baked Earth, Bark, Ink Black 24 = Poppy Red, Chilli Red, Shiraz, Tangerine, Sun Yellow, Sherbert Yellow, Apple Green, Field Green, Leaf Green, Teal Green, Iris Blue, Bright Blue, Deep Indigo, Sea Blue, Fuchsia, Violet, Mustard, Baked Earth, Willow, Bark, Charcoal Grey, Ink Black, Antique White, Outliner

thank you for that last post listing the colors; i was disappointed that my set of 12 i bought off ebay didnt come with the outliner pencil; but then i wasnt sure if it was the black or the dark - i wasnt near water at the time to test these. its good to know you dont get the outliner -is it available seperately?

It is. Amazon sellers seem to have a tough time keeping these pencils available on the site for some reason, but DickBlick who shows up on Amazon searches, but doesn't sell directly here does sell them on their site.

Thank you bunches for listing the colours! I purchased the set of 12 and the only note--not sure if the company swapped it out later--is that instead of 'Cherry', I received 'Poppy Red' in my set. Maybe I'll end up with 'Cherry' if I order the larger tin. :)
Out of curiosity, since the names only give vague ideas of colour ('Sherbert Yellow'...are we talkin' lemon or pineapple? It makes me wonder who comes up with these names.), do you think any of them come close to skin tone colours (i.e. light pink, peach, tan, reddish brown, light brown, etc.)?

If you go to the Derwent official website (pencils.co.uk) click products, inktense, they have a fairly accurate color chart there showing it as pencil and after a water wash. But nope I haven't found one inktense that is really close to any skin tone, you'd have to really mix them or settle for using their other pencils in combination with inktense (they have some skintone specific pencils in their coloursoft line of pencils).

I know others have already said this, but thanks for listing the colors. I have the set of 12, and of course instead of doing the common sense thing and looking at Derwent's website, I was straining to look at the colors that appear on the photo and compare them to the ones I have. Needless to say, your list helped me so much more.

No problem. I know just looking at the tins where I bought mine was a struggle comparing them, so I figured a list would help. Glad it did.
