This review is from: Red Line (60103) Complete SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner - 15 Ounce (Automotive)
I bought a used 2007 Honda Fit Automatic with 81,000 miles, and I was sad when my first 1500 miles averaged around 29mpg on 87 regular gas. I calculate every tank of gas by hand, and every one read 29.xxx mpg with one that was 27mpg. I mixed the Redline Fuel System Cleaner with a full tank of 93 Premium, and my fuel economy went up a little, but not much. On my very next fill up, I used regular 87 and averaged 35mpg - the best I've ever experienced. I've put around 3500 miles on my car since using Redline, and every tank has been between 32-33mpg. I know there are many factors that effect mpg, but after 5000 miles of calculations, the difference before and after using Redline have me sold. Other brands may work just as good, but my experience with Redline will keep me faithful to the brand.
