Good book and command reference, comes with outdated Fedora,
This review is from: Practical Guide to Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, A (5th Edition) (Paperback)
The book offers plenty of useful advice and guidance. There are many commands explained in simple and clear fashion. I am a beginner and this book is little too much for me. In my local book store "final sale" price and reviews were too good to resist. There's one thing that disappoints is an outdated Fedora 12 that comes with it. And apparently the book reflects version 12. I compared this book to the library of books included with Fedora 14 Linux, 4-disks DVD Installation and Reference Set, Ed.2011 and it is on more advanced side. I'm still reading a book for beginners from the included library and later will give this book another try. This book compared to another book I've got "linux bible" is much better, offers many examples and good explanations, but having old Fedora bundled with it spoils a deal. It also makes me uncertain if this book is still good for newer Fedora 14.
