Too narrow on the bottom,
This review is from: Levi's Men's 569 Loose Cargo Pant (Apparel)
I like the old version of Levi Cargo pants. I think Levi screwed these up. They would be nice if the legs had more room in them. They fit too tightly and make your legs look skinny. I haven't even washed them yet. I'm afraid that if I do, they will shrink up even more. I'm planning on returning these. It looks like I'm going to have to switch to another brand even though I wear the old version almost exclusively. I hope that Levi changes these again and makes the legs less skinny at the bottom. They also need to release more colors. They always have the same lame colors and never mix them up. The black ones would have been a nice change.

I have both the older version of the Levi cargo and just got this newer version. I think Levi decided to design a modern version of cargo pants that fit a little trimmer and don't look as "clunky" with the wide legs. These newer pants can be worn in the office (depending on the office) and out on the town. My girlfriend loves them on me. That said, they do ride low on your hips which can take a bit of getting used to if you're not 25. BTW, I would also like to see more colors offered here.

It's crazy that Levis decided to stop making the older ones. I got a few at sears, but now you can't find them anywhere. I must have spent over $300 on other brands in hopes of finding something similar...

yes, what is wrong with these clothing manufacturers lately with these skinny stick looking pants that make people look like they are in concentration camps; what is worse is overweight people wearing them haha

Everybody has jumped on the skinny pants craze even if they alienate their less svelte clientele.

I like the skinnier pants. Why do people need an extra acre of fabric wrapped around their legs, just to flap in the breeze? I wish more manufacturers would slice out some of the wasted extra fabric in the legs. These are awesome!

I have 7 pair of the old version Levi Cargos and wear them exclusivly for work. They are so comfortable. They also came in a 38" inseam which I need for my height. I have yet to find another pair of pants that work so well and I am fast realizing that 4 years of wearing the others is starting to show!

The old Levi's Cargos were great. My favorite pants since my first pair purchased in 2004. Levi's being the fashion bandwagon company they are, I knew the time would come when they wouldn't make them anymore. Go figure, they replace them with these skinny jean metrosexual pants. Hopefully when that trend blows over, they'll go back to making an honest pair of cargos with room in the legs. And I'm not fat by any means, but I am tall, and appreciated the fuller cut and longer sizes.
