Expected a campaign movie, instead watched a documentary that uses President Obama's own autobiography to send us around the world to see places where he lived and learn about people who shaped his world view. Even people who support President Obama should appreciate this look into the life of our historic leader.

It is very interesting to see this view of Obama and his background and wonder how he reached the presidency. It is also interesting to learn that Dinesh D'Souza is from India, the son of a corporate [Johnson and Johnson] executive. His attack on Obama is that he is anti-colonial, and anti-colonial means different things in India. By those standards the founding fathers, Washington, Jefferson, etc. were anti-colonial. So why is it bad to be anti-colonial?
If every time D'Souza uses the term anti-colonial, the term anti-corporation were used, it might make more sense to the overall purpose of the movie. Several times D'Souza flashes a map of the U.S. on the screen and points out how Obama is blocking corporate development of resources in the U.S. How many of those resources are being developed regardless of the effects on the area for export to other countries and is that being anti-corporate or in D'Souza's view anti-colonial?
