H2O Wireless is fraught with problems,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The SIM card I received is suspect.
H2O Wireless service is abysmal, I am filing a complaint with the BBB, my credit card, and possibly the attorney general in my state.
I received my new SIM card yesterday, activated it on the H2O wireless website and was assigned a new phone number, added $10 on a pay as you go plan, then installed the SIM card and turned the phone on. The second the phone turned on, I immediately started receiving copies of text messages between two other people - a very disconcerting situation and also resulting in charges to my brand new service which I hadn't even used yet! I immediately placed my phone in airplane mode and contacted H2O wireless through their online chat help. They indicated that they would credit my account, send me an email when they had done so, and to check back in 3-5 hours to have them change my phone number. I waited 6 hours, I hadn't received an email yet, and upon logging into my H2O wireless account to my shock the balance was nearly zero and charges continued against it! I contacted H2O wireless through their online chat again, and after wasting over an hour with them, they were only able to change my phone number, refused to credit my account back to $10 indicating "I had used up the funds", and they would not credit the funds back. Additionally, the following problems exist
1) H2O wireless online chat maintains ZERO records of prior dialogue with their help agents
2) The H2O wireless online account provides ZERO logs of actual calls, texts, or data usage to assist the user in determining valid charges
3) H2O wireless online chat representatives seem more intent on apologizing then actually helping their customers, they take forever todo anything and are extremely misleading in their statements
4) H2O wireless does not seem to care about its customers, they appear to have intentionally setup an obtuse, hidden, technically error ridden product
h2O wireless may be inexpensive but the low price is not worth the security issues and abysmal customer experience. Go elsewhere.

It is common when you get a recycled number, you will see quite a lot of unwanted phone calls and text messages.
I am curious if H2O can block unwanted text and calls since they use AT&T network. AT&T allows costumers to block unwanted messages from network through their web site. I have done those blocks on my AT&T cell a few years ago.
I am trying to switch AT&T plan to pre-paid phone, so I would like to know if H2O can block unwanted message as well.
Does anyone happen to know about ability of blocking mechanism over H2O?
