This review is from: 300 Questions LDS Couples Should Ask Before Marriage (Paperback)
I'm posting this on my wife's account - but keep in mind - this is her husband Jackson writing:
Going through my bookshelf to purge it of old books I came across this book. I recalled my wife and I going through the 1st chapter or 2 to see what value it had. Of course, we took it with a grain of salt. This book is amusing at best. PLEASE use with caution! Do NOT try to answer all of these questions prior to getting married! My wife and I just had one of the best laughs of the day reading over how crazy and terrible the questions in this book are. What a way to scare someone! "In what times do you feel you are most hypocritical?" followed by a lot of other negative, analytical questions... PLEASE don't try to answer all of those together and all at once. You are ASKING for a break up.
"Do you dress modestly?" REALLY?! If you have to ask this, you have not been around each other long enough to even date seriously!
"What is your most negative characteristic?"
"Have you ever thought that you should marry him/her because if you don't, no one else will come along and you will be lonely for the rest of your life?"
This book is sick. Read it for a great laugh, but please don't take half of these questions seriously because it could stop you from a really really good thing.
