4.0 out of 5 stars Good fit overall!, December 15, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dickies Juniors Uni Double-Buttoned Twill Skirt- School Uniform (Apparel)
I wanted a more casual black skirt and this definately works for what I was desiring. It fit well, I'm 5'10'' and usually wear between a 12-15 in various brands of clothing. It's a good length on me, a couple inches above the top of my knee, on shorter individuals it might be to the knee or on the knee. I was being a little over-enthusiastic in it the first time I wore it and the seam for the slit in the back came undone an inch or so, but that was an easy repair, and I made sure it was good enough to be very solid in the future.

Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll check back periodically to answer them.

Thank you for such a thorough review. I wear size 10-12 in misses. I am ok in a 10 but usually go for the 12 just because I hate for my clothes to leave marks on my skin. I am comfortable in a 10 with J Jill and Talbots (gives you an idea of my age) what I am worried about with this is if its narrow in the hips and thigh, I am athletic I am a swimmer and runner so I have heavy thighs and am worried that this skirt will be to snug across my thighs, do you find this cut to be more of a straight or pencil cut or is there a bit of a line to it??
