1.0 out of 5 stars I am speechless!, July 7, 2011

This review is from: Michael Jackson The Experience - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
I made the mistake of playing the wii version first and that was so so much fun. So when this game came out I went and purchased a brand new Xbox 360 along with the Kinect to play this game. Needless to say, I have kept the Xbox and the Kinect, but this game went right back to the store. The whole time I was playing the game I was waiting for the "Michael Jackson Experience" unfortunately I never got it. The Que cards are to low on the screen and the games doesn't recognize some of your movements. Thriller is boring, Smooth Criminal was just upsetting, BAD was just plain bad and Beat It was the icing on the cake. If you have a phobia about looking fat, then this is not the game for you. If you have played the wii version, keep the memory alive and don't buy this game. If you are expecting to see cool looking dancers in the back ground and not a feminine looking guy doing aerobic exercises and you standing in the middle going what the "Heck" then this is definitely not the game for you!! My BAD for not reading the reviews before purchasing the game...sorry MJ

I had the exact same experience. I own both the Wii and the Kinect versions. Wii version is surprisingly head and shoulders above this version. I feel cheated having bought an xbox 360 with kinect with the hope that it would be a more accurate interactive gaming system. Thus far this has not been the case. The Xbox360 with kinect has taught me to appreciate my Wii. The only game that works well with the Kinect is Dance Central. Experiencing that game prompted me to get the system, but it seems that is the only game that works well with the system.

I agree! I was so disappointed and hadn't yet seen the Wii or PS versions! If I wanted to see a fat version of myself stumbling around trying to do MJ I would look in the mirror.

This looks almost primitive next to the other versions. If they bring the kinect version up to the same par, I'd buy the game again. Just really disappointing and now I feel really gypped! We barely played it and stumbled across the other versions when looking for other dance games on Youtube (before spending our money again).

We wanted fun and exercise (and the MJ experience), which you don't get with this version.

What were they thinking?!

I totaly agree played the Wii over my sister's house and knew I wanted to get the MJ experience for Kinnect and it sucks big time! It's slow, long pauses and I can't get the singing part to work. Big let down, about to trade it in for Zumba, hopefully it will be a better buy.
