4.0 out of 5 stars Loose, comfortable fit, September 13, 2013
I own 12 of these UA Tech shirts and for the most part, I love 'em! What's the reason I don't give them 5 stars? After multiple washings and dryings, the fabric tends to pill.

Another reason I give it less than the full 5 stars, even if you wear deodorant, but sweat while working out, these shirts will (again, over time) retain odors - no matter what laundry detergent you use. NOTE: I know this may be just my own special breed of chemicals that has done this to my UA Tech shirts, but take it as an FYI if you, like me, sweat a lot during workouts. If you're buying these for looking cute around town, the retained odor should be no issue at all.

Overall, these are well made, comfortable, loose fit UA shirts which are lightweight and perfect for working out or hanging out in warm weather. They don't shrink or lose their shape. (I have a 40" chest and purchase Large in these tees, wearing a compression bra underneath.) The colors are vibrant and the price is on par with similar garments from other makers.

Because the fabric is fairly thin, my bra does show through with some colors. Take this into consideration when purchasing and/or wearing different colored bras underneath these tees.

If you wash the shirt and use white distilled vinegar instead of fabric softner, it will remove the odors in the fabric. It will not make you smell like vinegar. The vinegar does not stain the fabric either. The vinegar just removes the odors, and, it is MUCH cheaper, more cost effective, and better for both the body, the fabric, and the environment. It's easy on the washing machine too. Vinegar is the only fabric softener I've used now for close to 3 years. Many people I run into don't know this wonderful fabric softener trick, and when reading the reviews, I thought you might be interested. If you want a commercial fabric softener type of scent, add a drop or two of essential oil to an old cloth and place it in the dryer along with your clothes. If not interested, no problem.
Thanks for your review too! I found it helpful :-)
