Hunting Hitler - Book Review,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hunting Hitler: New Scientific Evidence That Hitler Escaped Nazi Germany (Hardcover)
The author of "Hunting Hitler", Dr. Jerome R. Corsi, received his PhD from Harvard University in political science. He is currently under contract with World Net Daily as a staff writer working as an investigative reporter. He has written New York Times best sellers "Unfit for Command", "Obama Nation", and "The Great Oil Conspiracy."
Astounding evidence came out in 2009 from three American professors that had access to Hitler's alleged remains surprised the globe with scientific DNA proof that the skull and bones Russia claimed were Adolf's were in fact the skull of a forty year old woman. This reinforced Joseph Stalin's belief that in fact Hitler did get away after the war a claim he maintained to the end of his life. Truth is no one saw Eva Braun & Hitler die in the bunker; no photos were taken to document that fact; fact is no bodies were ever found in the bunker; no physical evidence exists tying them to the scene.
Corsi and his researchers maintain the possibility that Hitler escaped from Nazi Germany at the end of the war and even Dwight D. Eisenhower, the allied commander, said he thought Hitler was still alive. FBI & CIA records kept at the National Archives maintain the U.S. government took serious the reports that Hitler & Eva Braun escaped to Argentina in a Nazi U-boat. Even the trial judge at the Nuremberg trials of Nazi war criminals said he believed," No one is for sure Adolph Hitler is dead."
The Fourth Reich
Corsi compiles massive amounts of proof plus painstaking research and evidence that points to Hitler's escape to Argentina even down to the exact landing area on the beach. The question remains did Hitler escape to plan revenge and the rise of the Fourth Reich? There was a large German community in Argentina that backed Adolph; in fact they worshipped him as a cult hero. Could it be after he lived out his life there they had access to his DNA knowing that sometime in the future perhaps technology would exist to be able to clone him back to life?
In this intriguing look into the history of the Nazi party, its godlike leader, and Hitler's escape we learn the thinking of criminal minds, the propagandizing of the truth, the thievery that set up his escape, and how the Nazi's had help here in America to fund their monster killing machine. These traitors exist in our political system unto this day plotting the overthrow of our republic. Corsi merely turns the light on these cockroaches and you can see them all run for cover. I give it five stars out of five even though it is a short read no words are wasted.

Good review, Gary. Who knows for sure what happened. But leave it to Corsi to get to the bottom of it. It certainly does open up a can of worms. I can see other historians piggy-backing on this theme. I think most of the knee-jerk criticism will come from the lefties who wouldn't like Corsi if he was handing out free ice cream cones.
I have admired Corsi ever since he put Kerry's presidential ambitions in the dustbin.

S. Crompton says:
The probelm with this whole theory is:
1) over 20 of his staff testified that he and Eva committed suicide, and in 60 years, not one of them ever recanted that story, even though they had long since severed ties to Nazi Germany and might have made a lot of money with a story about his escape.
2) The Russians moved their bodies so often, who knows what really became of the remains? That skull they had in Russia maybe have been switched or mistaken as Hitler's during one of the many times the KGB redug up the remains.
3) There is no tangible proof that Hitler was ever in Indonesia. No photos, no documents, no children (as rumored) nothing. Just rumors. One of which stated that Hitler was a Doctor, even though he had NO medical training. If Hitler survived, why didn't he continue his plans to kill the jews and create a master race?
4) Many of the Nazi leaders committed suicide in 1945-1947. They obviously considered it an honorable way to avoid punishment. Here's a sort list of high ranking Nazis that committed suicide: Himmler, Goring, Gobbels, Gobbel's wife, Hans-Georg von Friedeburg, Richard Glücks, Walther Hewel, Ludwig Stumpfegger, Otto Georg Thierack and there are various others. Is it really that hard to believe that Hitler & Eva wouldn't take the same way out?
5) The Gobbels & their children: This husband and wife not only committed suicide but they killed all their children (I think it was 5-7). If Hitler was escaping, why didn't he take the Gobbels with him, or at least agree to take some of the children to safety?
So as fun as it is to speculate on alternate history, there is virtually NO chance Hitler escaped the bunker at the end of April 1945. He killed himself, like so many of his twisted comrades.

As to your first point - There's no way to determine the degree of loyalty these staff members may have felt toward their former boss or, for that matter, whether they felt threatened. These statements from his staff may be interesting but can hardly be called evidence.
2 - Regardless of how often the Russians moved the remains when they were finally tested they weren't a match. Until proven otherwise, to speculate on the possibility that switches had been made (accidental or otherwise), is complete conjecture.
3 - Corsi never claimed Hitler ended up in Indonesia. His contention is Hitler escaped to Argentina.
4 - If everyone else in Germany committed suicide that wouldn't prove Hitler and Eva did so.
5 - Why didn't he take any number of other people? He's not exactly here to ask. It may have been difficult enough arranging his own escape without further complicating matters.
I have no dog in this hunt and, frankly, haven't read the book. It makes for interesting speculation and Dr. Corsi may have felt there was enough new material to justify outlining another possibility. I will leave him to that. I just don't think your points invalidate his premise. And I don't get the impression you read the book either.
all the best,

Coleen in Napa, CA:
Much of the criticism comes from people looking for facts and not fantasy and fiction.
Dr. Corsi has proven himself to be a highly unreliable source.
The Hitler survival myth has been debunked. Just like Dr. Corsi's contentions about Mr. Obama's birth certificate and citizenship.

L. A. Potter says:
I listened to the author on coast to coast last nite and he addressed some of these points also where S. Compton not sure if female or male as you state in your address but as they state about the witnesses he states that many contradicted each other some said he shot himself in the right temple others the left others the mouth and others said no shooting at all took poison you were right no recanting of there stories just no straight stories . you would think if they really were witnesses the bodies would have matched one of the accounts oh but no actual bodies found at the bunker maybe they wanted him to be dead so badly so that it could all be over that in there minds they believed what they herd and you know how gossip spreads and is usually wrong. also about all the other suicides that you claim there were he also explained that many of those bodies were never confirmed by witnesses who knew them personally and that at the end of the war there were many bodies around to lay claim to that could fit the general description of someone.

Hollister is a notorious, leftist curmudgeon. He is steeped in Alinskyite theology and is as predictable as mushrooms after a spring rain. Whatever the issue he always champions the Democrat/Socialist party line. He is like the crazy uncle in the basement banging on the boiler - everyone hears the noise but has learned to ignore it.
Once you stop trying to take him seriously he's actually rather hysterical (as in funny). The frightening part is he has a twin brother back in Washington - and that guy's not amusing AT ALL.
Incidentally, I recently read "Obama's plan to bankrupt the USA". Very important work! It should be mandatory reading for every American citizen. It is really encouraging to see an author care enough about his writing to defend it in a public forum like this. It also gives his fans the opportunity to thank him, in person (so to speak), for all those valuable contributions. Keep up the heavy lifting and we'll take care of your light work.
I wrote a review for this e-book and am a VERIFIED PURCHASER! Just in case some Alinskyite claims otherwise.
Addendum: FYI, Mr/Mrs Hollister, the above referenced "VERIFIED PURCHASER" was in connection to Dr. Corsi's E-BOOK. In your now, Amazon-deleted, post you called me a liar for stating I had not purchased Dr. Corsi's newest BOOK. I have not, as yet, made that purchase so wipe all that egg off your face and be a little more careful when calling people liars. I believe an apology is in order. For someone who claims to put so much stock in facts your posts don't support it.
"Have you no decency" Mr. McCarthy, excuse me, I mean Hollister.

Jerome R. Corsi:
I don't believe facts have a political bent.
That you would suggest such a thing says a great deal about you. And nothing at all about me.
Debunked? Yep! I previously cited sources for that statement. If you didn't believe the truth the first time you read them, you won't believe it if I repeat myself.
As for your previous work, here's an example of a critical response:
I don't believe the StillBirthier nonsense, and I firmly believe the fact that Mr. Obama is a Natural Born Citizen of the United States of America.
