5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just Please......Tickled, December 12, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Leather Camera Case, Bag for Canon PowerShot G15 (Dark Brown) (Electronics)
Not very often do I received an item I would give more than five stars. This is one. This case does several things:

First: Now that the G15 no longer has the previous models articulating LCD screen, this screen is exposed. This case provides excellent protection for that vulnerable area of this camera.

Next: What a nice, "retro" leather case this is. The electronics may be new millennium, but this case gives a cool "aged" effect to the ensemble.

More: Very, very well made. Excellent leather, nice fit, solid stitching, and quality metal parts. The bottom piece of the case screws onto the tripod mount, and the top part is attached with three high quality snaps. It can come completely off if you wish, or dangle by one snap if desired. Nothing cheap about any of these components.

Finally: I think this product is a great conversation piece and will make you want to carry the G15 around. Thus, you will use your camera more, IMHO. Like I said, if there were a provision to award more stars, I would do it. I love this case.

Mike Willis says:
I have two questions about this case. 1: is the leather strap long enough to be worn around the neck? 2) Are the controls on the back of the camera accessible while the camera is in the case?
