Meekness is not in Skylar Belle's vocabulary,
This review is from: Skylar's Outlaw (Harlequin Super Romance, The Belles of Texas) (Mass Market Paperback)
Skylar Belle, the youngest of the 3 sisters, and now the only single one is mother to 4-year-old Kira, who suffers with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, plus is now running the High Five Ranch. Added to this is their 77-year-old Grandmother who in herself is a very colorful and unpredictable lady.
Then there is Cooper Yates, the foreman who was unjustly framed but served time and is still considered a criminal by Skylar who wants him gone. Unfortunately for her, neither of her sisters agree and she is now supposed to get along with him which neither she nor Cooper make itan easy task.
It doesn't help that Skylar's ex-in-laws are trying to gain custody of Kira, and have had her followed for quite awhile. Now when they find her and appear at the ranch,Kira turns up missing,so the suspicion is cast on them-but they are not kidnappers. When Kira is found,it brings alot of things to the surface, and many things change for both Skylar and Cooper.
There is so much I really would like to tell as this one was an exceptional ending to the series, but I really recomend it to anyone. Even if you only read one book, get this one,and you will se what a fantastic writer Linda Warren is.
