A Must for All Zelda Fans,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia (Hardcover)
Originally released in Japan for the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series, this full-color book covers the entire Legend of Zelda series. After a foreword from Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto, the book starts with 65 pages of Skyward Sword, and then delves into the other games. Of course, the best part is what most fans have been waiting for: an official Zelda timeline (something that Nintendo persistently denied existed). Along with a history of the Zelda universe and games, it also explains how they came to be. There is plenty of artwork, from original drafts to the final looks of characters and locations.
The book closes with a look at Zelda, Link, and Ganon through the years; a catalog of all the games; an afterword from director Eiji Aonuma; and a Skyward Sword manga. This book is truly worthy of being placed on a coffee table for all to see. Once you open it, you will not want to put the book down.
All in all, if you consider yourself a Zelda fan, don't think, just buy it.
