1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money. Prima says "Ran out of DLC codes", December 29, 2011
This review is from: Saints Row: The Third - Studio Edition: Prima Official Game Guide (Paperback)
Guide was given to me as a gift for Xmas. Guide came with Money Shot DLC code. Convoluted process of going to Prima Games to have to register for an account, then inputting the code then picking the system then getting the code, entering it into your system of choice then FINALLY downloading.

At least that would be the process if Prima hadn't run out of downloads. How do you run out of a digital download? It's impossible. Waste of money and an Xmas gift on this terrible guide for the DLC and HAHA! Prima screwed me on it again. I don't even buy/ask for guides anymore, I just wanted the jet bike. I will never buy any guide again, especially from Prima Games.

The rest of the guide is awful as well. Poorly written, flimsy, pages that rip easily, maps that are confusing to use and mission structure writings that make you wonder what you should be doing and exactly where you should be going. There are better places to spend $20 than this waste of money guide.

Prima customer service is atrocious as well. Emailed them nearly 10 days ago about trying to get the money shot DLC code and still no response. You would be better throwing your money out of your bedroom window instead of buying this guide. You've been warned.

That must have just happened. I got mine from Amazon a little over a week ago and had no problems getting it to work with the PS3. I do agree that if you purchased this guide soley for the DLC then it is a waste of money. As far as the pages being flimsy, I see no difference in this guide over any other prima guide I have purchased, perhaps your anger over the DLC tainted the actual review of the book itself.

I bought my guide months ago, figuring that code was a lost cause, tried it tonight, to my surprise the code they gave me(from there website) actually worked. I was shocked. Maybe i just got lucky, Anybody who has this already, should try there code again from the website, perhaps prima got off there duffs and triggered some more.
