This review is from: Yamaha P155 Contemporary Piano with Mahogany Top Board; Black (Electronics)
The board is OK, but warranty is an issue at the least in Canada. Speaker died within 3 weeks, between dealer and Yamaha it has been in the shop waiting for a part since February, now It's May and I still don't have it. I don't know if it's an orphaned product, or Yamaha Canada is indifferent to customer service, or both, however this is my experience and I regret not having looked more carefully into product quality, parts availability and warranty quality.
Could not recommend this given the above, caveat emptor, hope you have better luck than (my poor son, for whom it was a gift and) I.

Sorry to hear about your issues getting your unit serviced. I sure hope this has been resolved by now. I currently own 4 Yamaha DPs (a P90, a CP300, and 2 P120s) and they have been practically bulletproof, and all still play like new. I take very good care of them, but do gig with all but the CP300 regularly. I live in the US, and the one time I needed a part for my way-out-of-warranty P120, I found Yamaha Support to be really helpful with possible solutions and even a discount on a part. I was very surprised since they are such a massive organization. The problem might be with the place you took your piano to for repair. Did you ever get satisfaction?

Sorry to hear of your problem. These things do happen. I hope Yamaha helped you. For the record though, I've owned the P155 for seven years without any problems.
