Zombie's need love too!,
This review is from: Lucky Stiff (an erotic zombie novel) (Paperback)Lucky Stiff by Tonia Brown, was an erotic thrill to read! From the first word on, this reviewer could hardly put the book down and that is a good indicator that the story being read is truly remarkable. And it was.
When this reviewer read the blurb, she was intrigued by the idea of a zombie love story. The main character, who is also the narrator of this story, is at once intriguing and tragic. His "voice" throughout the story weaves around the reader, creating a world so real and tangible that the reader is transported to Peter's world. While the reader may feel sorry for him initially, his un-life takes him on so many journeys that make him more of a man than he was in life.
This story is also a bit humorous. The characters are well developed. Ms. Brown's take on this growing genre (erotic horror, zombie love story) is truly her own, and by the end of the story, the reader is cheering for Peter, who does find love.
The eroticism comes through in waves, as Peters unusual appetites must be fed in order to keep his "other" hunger at bay. Ms. Brown writes Peter as the zombie Casanova, that even this reviewer thought: what if?
This reviewer is not a horror fan, and yet there are elements of horror that was perfectly fine and worked well within the confines of the story being told here. The author blends well the horror, eroticism and humor in this truly outstanding read. Do not let this book pass you by.
