3.0 out of 5 stars 5 star content....pathetic blu ray, August 10, 2010
This review is from: National Lampoon's Vacation [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
The picture may be only a bit better than the previous DVD releases...the sound is ridiculous and the 43 second intro from 2003...weak. I do agree that the cover art also sucks but I certainly don't care if the disc delivers the goods...this doesn't. Don't bother to upgrade from your normal DVD..its not!

Thanks for the review, i have the 20th anniversary dvd from 2003, i think i'll definately stick with it, in my opinion blu ray seems to be hyped up,like its the best thing ever, alot of the time its not that much better than the regular dvd, the one from 2003 looks fantastic, the colors are so rich and vibrant, the images look crisp and clear, the technicolor on this movie is really great, i love the technicolor from older movies, it looks so unbelievable, of course it helps a little having a advanced high speed hdmi cable.
