LED always on???,
This review is from: Fenix TK11 R5 285-Lumen Cree XP-G R5 LED Flashlight
The power in this small size(Fenix TK11 R5) is spectacular. It could use another lower setting for general use. Mine arrived with a problem. The LED stays on at a very dim level (not bright enough to use) when the battery cap is tightened, which it must be for the switch to work. I can't get it to turn off except by loosening the battery cap. Is this poor workmanship? I am waiting for a 18650 battery to see if it is the CR123's. No worries though, because sportinggerunlimited will either replace it or give me $30 refund if I keep it - excellent trustworthy seller.
I FIXED THE PROBLEM, JUST TOOK APART THE BATTERY CAP AND WIPED IT OUT. PROBABLY WAS A BIT OF OIL RESIDUE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. THE 18650'S WORK PERFECTLY NOW, BUT THE CR123'S STILL KEEP THE EMITTER ON ALL THE TIME.

I did what you said in taking apart the tail cap, I didn't have to wipe it down so I just put it back together and the light was completely off. Extremely happy so far with light.
