all right so the game is pretty good however it would have been good to know that the dlc is not on disk and you have to download an almost 2 gig. patch and the almost 10 gigs of dlc, on disk would be better...

Can you CONFIRM that is includes EVERYTHING as advertised, i.e. the same as the standalone Premium membetship? THX!

yea you get all the maps + upcoming dlc and bonus headstart kit (get stuff early) think if this as the bc2 ultimite edition in the sense that it is a value bundle to get people to buy an older game

So, its DLC code(s) that have to be input thru the BF3 in-game store? Is it a separart code for each DLC, or is it just one code for everything? THX for the help/replies!

you get a premuim membership ( key the name premuim edition). if you want to know more check out the bf3 website and it should have a lot of info on the specifics of premuim, also think of it as a season pass where you buy it and then all the dlc will be free to download ( it comes with bf3 premuim edition to clarify). hope i helped :).

MNY THX Indeed! Looks like I'll trade-in my BF3 for this "newer" version...

I would LOVE the DLC to be on-disc...but how is that possible when there are still two other DLC's that need to be released?
Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, and Armored Kill on the disc might have exceeded the disc's capacity. If we're talking "50-GB, dual-layered Blu-ray," then it could be possible, but I don't know how many GB's the stand-alone game takes up.

You will get a key to the Premium membership. After you activated it you will be able to download all of the 5 DLCs from the in-game store or from PlayStation Store for free. Hope this helps :)

The 360 version of BF3 reportedly has 2 discs. IF they're both DL DVDs then that's a total of 18gigs; but before I applaud math, I just realized that if it were not a code, the 360 version would be 3 discs, require a different case, and increase shipping & manufacturing costs. So, there's the answer... or so says logic.
