EA = FAIL

This review is from: The Sims 3: World Adventures Expansion Pack (Video Game)
I've been a loyal follower of the Sims from the earliest of times. As the games progressed, tiny problems began popping up. I never really noticed them in The Sims. When The Sims 2 was released, these problems came roaring out of the gate. I don't need to list them all, but first, many of us suffered a violin issue that, once placed, made the "tile" unplayable. Then there was the constant disappearance of the head master for the private school. (EA did send out a patch for the violin. The head master was never fixed, at least for me)
Now comes The Sims 3. I'm so excited. It was great. The best one yet. And when they announced their first expansion pack, World Adventures, we're all thinking "great! This should be AWESOME." And it should be. But EA won't get their behinds in gear and FIX WHAT THEY'VE CREATED. This game came out 2 weeks ago. 2 WEEKS. Where is the patch for this? Most players are experiencing unbearable load times, crashes to the desktop, unable to save the game, families and neighborhoods disappearing, blue/black holes where houses or other items used to be, Sims' relationship panels completely turning red and removing ALL friends and family from the contact tab, ages drastically changing when wanting to change clothes or hair styles, babies and toddlers being deformed, sims magically having unexplained and unknown children with foreigners while on vacation (yet they never interacted in that way), and these are all from the top of my head.
For most people it's unplayable. I can actually play the game, but have quite a few of the "bugs" listed. When you're terrified to actually send your sim on a vacation or save your game, what on earth was the point on wasting money with this Expansion Pack?! I'm sure EA works hard, but they must have slept through testing this pack. And the thing that irritates most of the hardcore sim players: EA refuses to comment, respond, admit or FIX these issues. In fact, they seem to delight in deleting posts on their forum from people who complain, especially about THEIR COMPANY. God forbid someone wants to return the game! They're not listening to the millions of players on their own website, so be warned. This game is REALLY bad at the moment. Until EA wakes up from their Thanksgiving turkey slumber, we'll all have to suffer. And to be honest, no one knows when they'll return.
