A complete borefest,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Golden Mean: A Novel of Aristotle and Alexander the Great (Paperback)
As you can see by my "handle" (the philosopher), I am VERY interested in philosophy, and what's more, my favorite philosopher is Aristotle. So I was very excited by this book. It was just awful. The characters are vapid, the dialog is terrible and boring and as to the book jacket's promise that there would be deep philosophical discussions of morality, etc., I would love to know exactly where they were because I certainly didn't find any. This was just a bad, bad, book.
If you care about either philosophy OR history, don't waste your money on this book.
I am really sorry that Amazon MAKES me give it at least one star - it should have zero stars or maybe even negative stars!
