Another Good One From Across The Pond.,
This review is from: Classics (Audio CD)
This album makes you want to stop in any port and have tea with your local sailor. This album set is incredible, I've always liked 'A Whiter Shade of Pale', but there is so much more to offer. I love 'Conquistador', this and the orchestration that works off it to. Another good track where you can here a little bit of Robin Trower 'Whisky Train', almost sounds good enough to have been on a ZZ Top album, and also 'Simple Sister', with whooping cough even. It also has 'A Salty Dog', about a captain and crew sailing off to disaster. I even liked 'Repent Walpurgis', boy I wish I was around in the swinging 60's, at least the music was edible back then. Anyways, pretty much everything on this album is worth listening to, especially if you like British music like I do. This album would go good with Tea, Scones, and Sgt. Peppers.
