This review is from: Christmas at Draycott Abbey (Draycott Abbey Romance Book 10) (Kindle Edition)
I don't get to read as often as I would like too, but when I do I grab one of Christina's Draycott Abbey books which I discovered several years ago. I am pretty new to reading the ebooks. I recently had an evening to relax and read for a bit so I decided to explore the ebooks and I was delighted to find Christmas at Draycott Abbey. It didn't take long for me to realize I wasn't going to put it down till I read the whole story.
I love meeting up with Adrian in each of the stories, just like an old friend. Mostly though I enjoy that Christina builds each story to be independent, yet reminds us of the characters without repeating previous story lines. You get to learn the main characters in depth in their own book, yet encounter them again and again in following books, much the way you would good friends over the years. I have read other books that are in a series, but by the time you have read the third or fourth book, it seems like you are just retreading from the previous books. Not so with Christina's stories. Whether you read the Draycott books in or out of order you can enjoy each story as its own.
So if you want a short story to read in an evening, I recommend this book. If you enjoy it, then I suggest you explore the other books in the series of Draycott Abbey. They contain just the right amount of mystery, romance and excitement for me. Meanwhile I am waiting for the next book.
