Like others, I was surprised and disappointed by Lego "micro" world,
This review is from: LEGO Minecraft Micro World The Village 21105 (Toy)
My 10 year old has some issues with challenges and details so I thought getting him a Lego set of his favorite iPad game would give him incentive to stick to the task. When the package arrived I was dismayed that this will probably not work as I anticipated since the micro small pieces will probably prove to be too much for him. It's a Christmas gift and I know he will love it initially I just hope that he actually does it.
That being said, if I would have read closer for detail myself I would have noticed that it does say the completed product is a 10 cm square. For those not familiar with "micro" sets the brick size is not even 1cm. More like 8mm so buyer be aware if buying for a younger child. I would most definitely stick with the recommended age of 10+ unless your child has demonstrated very good dexterity and building skills.
Other than that I expect that this will have the same durability that most Lego products have. Just disappointed of the size and price.

I disagree, it is a reflection of the product. They are pricing this set as a full sized set. That is part of the whole package, IMO, and therefore part of the review of the product. For the price you are paying this is NOT up to 5 stars.
And might I add that according to amazon chart 3 stars=fun so it's not like I slammed this product.

As the person said, in their comment, it might be a bit of a challenge for their 10 year old. That is their right to put a opinion down. Now my grandsons, can not wait to get the micro sets. Which I have order for Christmas. They have one already, which they take apart and see which one can put it back together the fastest. Their ages are 10 and 13. Their mother even try's it out, with no problem. Sure the pieces are small. You know, you could go by a store like Toy R Us. And probably try one out, before you buy one here. Then you'll know if he is up to it, before you buy. I think Amazon is great, to buy from. This is just my opinion on the matter, whether it is replying or putting a post down.

I agree with you. How can you give something that clearly states that it is micro a bad review for being small. You made the mistake.

WHy doesn't Lego just make a bigger set? I'm disuaded from buying this. 8CM pieces are just too small and a frustration for the tiny hands of a child.

They say micro as if it's a cute toy. If they were really honest they'd not add pictures of the product as if it's a "normal" lego set. If they put a five year old's hands in the picture they would have probably half as many sales.
