1.0 out of 5 stars Greedy movie studios, dont ya love em'??!!, May 26, 2009
By
This review is from: The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring / The Two Towers / The Return of the King Theatrical Editions) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
The one star is for New Line, not the movie.
They could very easily have put both cuts on one set with the extras.
Instead, they want to milk the cow for all it's worth.
They think the fans will buy it, then double dip for the extended cut.
Well, I have bad news for New Line, lots of folks will boycot.

since your "review" is for new line, not the movies - then why did you put it here, where reviews for the movies are supposed to be? maybe you should write to new line, instead of pointlessly giving the movies you love one star.

You can't look at the 800 other reviews on here to figure it out yourself?

I am curious, out of the several hundred one star reviews, how come you guys pick mine out, since I am saying about the same thing?
Yes I agree, I should have said my comment is directed to New Line and not the film it's self. For that I appoligize, sue me and dip me in boiling oil!!
And FYI, I DID write a letter to New Line, and if enough folks scream FOUL maybe they will wake up.
If they do hear us, and put BOTH versions on the same release, it will be because of folks like me.
Now if you will excuse me, I need to write some "ice tray" reviews! ;)

If you wrote a letter you really do need to be dipped in hot oil.
