Someday by Jae Henderson,
This review is from: Someday (Paperback)
I recently read Someday by Jae Henderson in less than a week. I found it hard to put down as her transitions into each chapter left me wanting to read more. I enjoyed the way that she accurately depicted the internal and external struggles of celibacy. I liked that the main character, Tee, was not seen as a prude, inadequate, hypocritical, nor judgmental for her decisions. The storyline was well written infusing Tee as a career driven individual who balanced her social life with family supports and everyday desires for a God-given man. I even found an appreciation for the villain and the author's depiction of how the villain came to be such a character. Many topics were explored that contributed to the storyline including deceit, forgiveness, prayer, the trouble that false perceptions can cause, relationship baggage, family bonds, i.e. I already have questions about Someday, Too and can not wait to read it!
