Works Beautifully with Windows 7 on a PC,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Apple Magic Trackpad (Personal Computers)
I bought this product for the sole purpose of using on a PC running Windows 7. I love the gestures and trackpad on my MacBook but only have the option for a Windows PC at work. I followed the basic instructions from a simple Google search to install the drivers and then used the Magic TrackPad Control program to better enable gestures. The entire setup was done in less than 10 minutes and I could not be happier.

Your review piqued my interest. You have a Magic Trackpad running on Windows 7 on a PC (not Bootcamp)? You said you installed drivers to better enable gestures - what gestures do these drivers allow on a standalone PC?

Go to Trackpadmagic dot com and follow their directions. They have repackaged Apple' s Bootcamp drivers that you can install on a PC. They also have a paid-for application (Trackpad Control Panel) that enables two-finger tap as a right-click, and also enables reverse scrolling. The reverse scrolling may or may not work with their Trackpad Control panel, depending on your setup. They have a 28-day trial, so you can try before you buy. If reverse scrolling doesn't work, but you want the two-finger tap, you still have to buy their application. For reverse scrolling, you can do a registry hack: google "FlipFlopWheel" and follow directions to reverse the scrolling in order to make it "Natural" Mac style.
