This review is from: PLR 0.42x HD Super Wide Angle Panoramic Macro Fisheye Lens For The Nikon D5300, D5000, D3000, D3200, D5100, D5200, D3100, D7000, D7100, D4, D800, D800E, D600, D610, D40, D40x, D50, D60, D70, D80, D90, D100, D200, D300, D3, D3S, D700, Digital SLR Cameras Which Have Any Of These (18-55mm, 55-200mm, 50mm) Nikon Lenses (Camera)I ordered this lens as a temporary thing until I saved up enough money to buy a real lens, not an attatcment. Upon opening the package I realized that it did not fit my d3000's kit lens. There is an adaptor ring in the package that is required to make it fit 18-55 mm lenses. The lens itself works well, but when using it their is a definite shadow in my photos because the flash isn't powerful enough. I'd recomend buying a slave flash or a nikon sb400 before purchasing this product.

Where do you get the adaptor ring?
The shadow is probably not because the flash isn't powerful enough. The shadow is probably because the lens addition is blocking it, which happens often with big lenses. There's nothing you can really do about that except either not use the flash at all (which is probably recommended with a product like this) or to by a separate flash.

@Edward, Kelvin, Lexi, Alex, Rebecca: I'm not sure, but didn't S.Eichelberger say in the original review that the adaptor ring was included in the package?
