5.0 out of 5 stars Rome I does not activate on steam, December 19, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Rome & Rome II Pack [Online Game Code] (Software Download)
Rome 2 activates on steam
But not Rome I

Not a big deal for me since i got it because it was the best price i could find for Rome 2 which does activate on steam and you can still download Rome I and install it normally and add it to your steam library as a shortcut if you so desire but at purchase I was under the impression that it does activate on steam

P.S. Amazon Please clarify DRM for individual games when selling bundles :P

You can probably contact amazon customer support to get a steam key for Rome I? Or at least try to anyways.

What about Rome II? Is it still buggy after 8 patches? Is it playable?

Very playable. Still has the bad/odd quirks of the old games, such as slave armies that are way too powerful for slaves... but fun nonetheless. I have encountered zero bugs that break immersion thus far.
