This review is from: Redemption (Kindle Edition)
Redemption by Debra Lee takes the reader into the fictional life of an author who has been advanced an enormous amount of royalty money for her novel. Though I might question why she and her husband didn't suspect something fishy, that is beside the point as this is a novel and that's what authors of novels do, they write fiction.
The protagonist, Kay Diggs, experiences several unpleasant events (no spoilers from me!) after the release of her novel. Apparently someone doesn't want details of the story revealed. So, is the story Kay Diggs wrote based on facts? Did these events really happen?
That is the crux of Debra Lee's novel. And I'd like to point out that she offers a valuable lesson to writers:
Research, Research, Research. The tale is fiction, but as protagonist/author Kay Diggs learned, it is important to know of what you write!
