This book is as good as it gets, when it comes to showing all the different ways of butchering and cutting livestock. It is full of excellent photos, instructions, and recipes. It is by far one of the better books that I have seen over the years dealing with this topic. Many books have poor or scant illustrations; this book hits a home run with the clarity of the photos, illustrations, and the quality of text. If you read this book, study what is relevant to what you need to do with a particular animal, and maybe have some help from someone with a little experience, then you will be well on your way to being able to slaughter, butcher, and cook an animal or fowl.
