Excellent for the size,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: HP Mini 210-4150NR 10.1-Inch Netbook (Charcoal Gray) (Personal Computers)I was deciding between a larger laptop and the mini as I was told there were some drawbacks with the small one, but I can tell you, I am so happy I purchased this unit. You must change the Ram from 1gb to 2gb and then it will be great. 1gb is too slow. I just love this lap for traveling. Skype, Google talk, e mail, even movies work just great. If you are thinking about a mini lap, get this one. it has a better processor, better sound.

Hello, were you able to increase the ram to 2gb on this model? Mine arrives this week and I got the memory ready, but HP says no way, 1gb is the max.

They are full of . I have three friends that changed theirs to 2 gb and I changed mine also. You are usually dealing with people in a foreign land like India or the Philippines and they don';t know much more than the instruction booklet. Trust me, it will work. If you have Windows 7, you just change the memory and don';t even have to tweek it. On 1 GB it runs slow. The Windows almost take a GB. With the 2, it will run great. 2 gb is the limit though.

Is there a specific type of RAM card one needs to buy that will fit the netbook? Any warranty voiding? Is it just plug and play? Any indepth info you could provide would be super helpful.

I am not really sure on the warranty voiding but I would think not. you could always put the 1gb back in. It just does not cut it with the 1gb. You will love it once you change it to 2gb. I used a Corsair CM3X2GSD1066 2GB I have several friends that have done this and they just love the unit. You must remember, the Windows 7 takes up almost 1gb. That leaves you nothing. I don't understand why HP doesn't just do this. Maybe the cost. If you have Windows 7, there is no tweaking, just change the memory.
