2.0 out of 5 stars "EcoNOMY", January 11, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eco Deluxe Bath Body Gift Basket Lotion Cream Brush Set (Kitchen)
I haven't actually used the product yet, so I can't say whether or not it's good. The reason for the low score is because I felt like the brand is misleading. I originally was going to give this as a gift, but then I could not because the brand name on it is actually "Economy" and you can't tell that by the picture, it looks like "Eco" as in eco-friendly. I did not want to give it as a gift and look cheap.

Thank you for the heads up! I was also going to order this as a gift, thinking "ECO" meant eco-friendly. Thank you for saving me the embarrassment, as I was going to have this sent directly to the person, and I wound have never known that it said "Economy"!

Not a helpful review. I don't know if you hovered over the picture or not so that it could enlarge itself, but it's pretty obvious to me that it says economy on the picture. Plus you didn't try the product so that tells me zip about the quality. Thoroughness is key, I find this to be an injustice to the product when someone posts a review about something cosmetic when they failed to look as closely as they possibly could, and then they don't even follow through with actual product quality. It's not the product's fault.

While I see what you (Christina Hyatt) are saying, it was helpful to me, and apparently others as well! There are a lot of products, more and more it seems, popping up on Amazon of sub-par quality. Calling a product "Eco" in its actual title gives off the impression that it's eco-friendly, not as a shortened version of "economy." That is extremely misleading.
