Excellent reference
I work as a RN and clinic manager at an advanced wound care clinic and this is the book the docs told me to get when I first started. It covers everything you may need to know from how to identify the origin of the ulcer, best treatment and studies needed, products available and their uses and recommendations. If you pay attention, you will be an expert with wound care...

inferior quality from s_r_books
I ordered this book to study for a certifcation exam and didn't open it for a few weeks. Imagine how furious I was when I got to page 24 - OOPS! no page 24 or 25 or about 25 other missing pages throughout the book! Just glossy blank pages that should have held critical information. When I contacted the seller to ask for another book - they replied my deadline for refund...

I work as a RN and clinic manager at an advanced wound care clinic and this is the book the docs told me to get when I first started. It covers everything you may need to know from how to identify the origin of the ulcer, best treatment and studies needed, products available and their uses and recommendations. If you pay attention, you will be an expert with wound care. After reading, it is an excellent referece to use to look up specific dressing recommendations for specific wounds. I highly recommend it.

Bought this for my wife, whos is a Home Health Care RN Instustor. She says everyone in office liked it, good referance and learning tool.

Nice reference, November 29, 2007

This update is a nice reference for product selection or formulary development, but as always it is out of date the day it hits the bookshelves. It is still worth having and is well written and easy to navigate. My only gripe is the wire binding is awful!

Of course Amazon agreed to refund my money - no problem with them.

Would buy again, January 14, 2008

Book came in great shape, but took a long time for it to be delivered. After approximately three months of repeated e-mails saying that the book would be delayed, it finally got here. Thankfully, I didn't need it right away or else I would have been in trouble.
