my favorite tennis book
I've recently started getting serious about my tennis, and love to play, watch, and read tennis. This is my favorite tennis book -- easy to read, all at once or a little at a time, and in fact I'm going to order my third copy -- I've already given the first two away to tennis buddies! If you're a club level player, this is for you.

Worthwhile reading
Book was easy read and found to be good to pick up and roam thru for reminders of the basics - also with a little humor

great tips, October 17, 2007
This review is from: Tennis for Humans: Winning Hints, Tips, and Strategies for the Competitive Club Level Player (Paperback)
I have a few books on playing tennis and strategy -- this is by far the most straightforward and easiest to apply. Not lots of technical specifics about shots and strategy, but more about getting your head on the game your are playing. I highly recommend this book, and I am passing on the tips I learned from it to all my tennis team mates.

Worst Tennis Book Ever, March 31, 2010
This review is from: Tennis for Humans: Winning Hints, Tips, and Strategies for the Competitive Club Level Player (Paperback)
This has got to be the worst tennis book I have ever read. You can just tell from the title of the book this book is lame. Tennis for Humans? who else is it going to be, aliens, or your dog? The book is meant for a person who has never picked up a tennis racquet in their life not for your club player. Also all the drills and strategies are lame. If you want a good book read Peter Burwash's Tennis for Life or his other book Total Tennis.
