Whalen Fire Pit Large

Functional and easy to handle
We bought this because it was more campfire like, allowing a group of people to sit around it and really make a nice big warm fire... it is easy to handle and tend the fire as well as to put it out. One time a neighbor had the fire department show up on us, but they never even bothered us - just radioed in that it was a fire pit and left (we live in nj...ny metro area)...

Functional but doesn't stand up
We have owned two of these and need a new one. The first one rusted out after one season. We we replaced it we purchased the Whalen cover hoping to keep it longer. We are very carefull with this and the mesh screen again rusted out. We called the company and the mesh screen is not covered by the limited warranty and is very expensive to replace. we love this item but the...
