Good protein per gram, but it tastes absolutely awful.

It has a lot of protein per tablespoon (twice that of the standard whey and casein protein powders)
Very clean (no extras or additives)
Not milk based.
The taste is just awful.
It doesn't mix very well, takes a lot of stirring, but once you get it mixed it does stay dissolved.
So about the taste, the biggest problem with it is its almost impossible to cover up, and forget about drinking it raw with water. I'm use to the standard flavored whey or casein powders and they are not great, but at least if you mix in a banana or some strawberries you can mask the taste of them. I also have little problem of downing a 16oz whey mix with only water when I don't feel like mixing fruit.
With this rice protein there is no covering the bad taste. It's a bitter chalky taste, like dirt. This morning I mixed a banana, 1/2c strawberries, 2 tbsp sucrose, 2 tbsp of rice protein, and it was horrid, I rarely put sugar/sucrose in my smoothies and even that didn't help.
I wanted this to work so I would have a protein source that wasn't milk based, but its so bad I will never buy it again and will be moving back to the standard powders.
