I have numerous food allergies and was recommended this product by my health care professional. It mixes well with apple juice. Though I prefer the "mixed berry" flavor, I like all the products. Easy to digest, low fat, good nutrition on the run or otherwise. I've tried other protein drinks and either there is something in them that I'm allergic to, they mix like sawdust, or they taste terrible. I think this product is the best of the lot!

I purchased this because i just found out that I have an egg and yeast allergy. Not too sure what my eating choices are yet , I wanted to have something on hand for a quick breakfast or snack,so I didn't have to spend a lot of time looking at food labels or cooking something, but yet get an adequate amount of protein and nutrients. This protein powder has no yeast and is labelled vegan, so I don't have to worry about the ingredients.
So anyway, this stuff is delicious! I have been making smoothies with the powder, some milk, banana and berries. I have used frozen fruit and it can be a little gritty, but I find that if you mix the powder with the milk first ( I use a hand-held blender) it is much less gritty, and if you use non frozen fruits it is pretty darn grit free. The taste is good also, just a mild creamy vanilla.
I would recommend this powder!

An excellent alternative for allergy prone people who need a break or must avoid whey, soy, or egg protein, very common allergens. Mixes better in a blender.

Keeps my energy up! I add yogurt, milk, and assorted frozen fruit and it is a meal in a glass. Not only that, it tastes great!

Nutribiotic makes a high quality rice protein powder. No fillers, no additives. Just rice protein.

Many other brands choose to mix different types of protein, add vegetable, fruit, nuts, and seed powders. This often makes the protein powder difficult to digest and assimiliate. Every type of food requires specific enzymes to digest and assimilate the nutrients, protein, etc. So mixing many different types of food requires the body to produce more enzymes and to use more energy.

Yes, this rice protein may not have the highest protein content per serving as other brands. However the simplicity of Nutribiotic sets this brand apart from the others.

I throw this in the blender with some blueberries, almond mild, and chia seeds. It's not sweet so if you want that taste, you need to add it. It's a clean, healthy source of natural protein. Also, the shipping on this product was super fast although I just used the free shipping option.

I bought this product for my husband. He is a pretty picky guy about the things he eats and drinks and he absolutely loves this protein powder...I wish it was on subscribe and save. It has a great flavor and is not too powdery tasting. I mix it with water, frozen blueberries and a banana. Sometimes I change up the water with coconut milk.

The taste is definitely something you won't look forward to, but I don't dread it either. On the plus side there are only two ingredients; rice protein & vanilla. It is 80% protein by weight & the amino acid profile (printed right on the label) compliments legumes nicely (or pea based protein powders). I mix a heaping tablespoon in 8oz. of water and chug it down before I have a chance to taste it (the vanilla flavoring is pointless to me, next time I'll order unflavored & have only one ingredient). I guess you could add it to food, but why risk ruining the taste of food you enjoy?
