This electric brad nailer is economical and nails are readily available at my local home supply center. It is straightforward to use, makes it much easier to attach small pieces of trim and to attach pieces of wood being glued up without their sliding around. Nevertheless the electric nailer doesn't have the power of a pneumatic nailer. If you want the convenience of this kind of nailer for occasional use, don't want to spend the money for a heavier duty pneumatic tool and compressor, and don't mind driving the nails in the rest of the way and setting them by hand, it can be a useful tool for your shop.
