Great stand for holding my Classical Guitar. Small but steady footprint. Solid construction, soft pads and folds easily away.

I know nothing about guitar accessories. I wanted to get a friend of mine something for his birthday and he plays guitar. I found out that Fender is an excellent brand and I bought the stand for him when I realised that his guitar is normally in a corner in the house. He loves the stand. It is lightweight, easy to carry and he can fit it into the guitar bag and take with him when he is travelling. It does not take up much space. Now he is telling me that the stand looks so good it makes his guitar look cheap and I should get him a Fender guitar to match!!!!!

When I bought this, I wanted something that was really scratch proof. This is it! The top quality soft rubber won't rot or stick to your guitar and even the struts that the molded rubber is on has rubber end caps. it opens very wide and I have never knocked it over and I have a stand and guitar next to my sofa 24/7. It also has a knob to lock it in place and it folds down small and fits in a black bag with a 'Fender' logo on it. I now own four of them. Go for it!

Compact, Yet Sturdy, August 6, 2010

This was a wonderful purchase for my husband. He was always leaving his guitar laying around the house and I was scared it was going to fall and break or get knocked down and damaged! However, this compact, yet very sturdy stand was just the right solution! It does not take up very much room width-wise and is low to the ground, meaning that it stays out of the way and is easy to clean around. If it does need moving, it is a breeze to fold and move!
When I opened the package and first viewed the stand, I did not think it would hold something as tall as a guitar because of its small size...Wrong! It has worked very well, even on carpet. My husband does not travel (so far) with his guitar; nevertheless, it would certainly work great in a traveling situation because it folds into a size that would easily fit into a , guitar bag/case, duffle bag or suitcase. Due to its small size, durability and sturdiness, I highly recommend this little stand!

Good little mobile stand, February 5, 2010

This Guitar stand folds up very small and holds the guitar nicely. Would be easier to knock it off of a small stand like this, but if you don't have problems with kids, or pets or tripping over cords then this work great. I use it when I'm playing away from home because it is easy to pack and take along. It also works great in the music room for easy on and off access.
