BEST COOKWARE EVER!!!
I received this product after about 4 years of using Target's T-fal product. I immediately noticed a difference in my food, the way it cooked and tasted. The soft grip handles are a dream. It was definitely the best deal out there. I have used my dad's Calphalon before and this is far better. A definite must.

Nice cookware, but starting to peel

The 8 inch skillet unfortunately is already showing signs of peeling the nonstick coating, and things are sticking badly. I love Anolon! This set was purchased to replace my previous Anolon set...after 13 years of everyday use! The coating on my original pans started flaking this spring...so of course I bought Anolon. This time I added the 12" griddle pan. My little girl loves BIG pancakes and this pan is perfect.
The only negative aspect was that 2 weeks after I received them the price dropped by $100. Plus there was an additional $25 discount if you spent at least $150, which I did. After contacting Amazon I did get an immediate $100 refund, but I forgot to ask about the other $25. Oh well, at least I did get them for the lesser price. Just keep an eye!
By all means I would highly recommend Anolon to anyone looking for excellent, heavy duty, long wearing cookware. If you need new pots & pans buy a set of Anolon Advanced or Anolon Classic. Amazing!

Anolon Advanced cookware is excellent for all cooking needs - it is heavy so it sits on the stove top securely, the surface works very well as a non-stick surface, the glass lids allow you to see the food AND they have a rubberized handle that is easy to grip, and the handles of all the pots and pans do not get too hot and are comfortable to grip or carry. These pots and pans are sure to last longer than most other brands even for the aspiring or even professional chef!

This is an absolutely fantastic cookware set...love it, love it, love it!! I researched a long time before deciding on this set of cookware and boy, did I make the right decision! Food cooks quickly and evenly, and clean-up is a snap. I also love the glass lids so I can see the food as it's cooking. As the manufacturer recommends, I do not put this cookware in the dishwasher, but clean up is so fast and easy, I don't mind washing them by hand at all! Anolon cookware is highly recommended by Consumer Reports, too, which definitely was a factor in my decision. You can't go wrong with this set; it's a great product for the money. I even purchased an array of Anolon cooking utensils as well, and I love them equally as much! After years of inexpensive, mismatched, low quality cookware and utensils, it's wonderful having these great Anolon products in my kitchen!

Wanted to find a good quality cookware set that not only cooked evenly with gas, but also had cool handles. Recently, we converted our stove over to gas and our old, non-stick set with metal handles was just not cut out for the job. The pans seemed very flimsy for the gas and seemed to be burning food. Plus, we kept grabbing the handles while they were hot! Even if the pot holders were right out on the counter in front of us, we still had the tendency to keep reaching for those handles.
Even though the Anolon Advanced cookware is not dishwasher safe, the clean-up really is a snap. Large pots and pans always take up quite a bit of room anyway in the dishwasher, so leaving them out hasn't really been a big deal for us.
We definitely researched and read up on the reviews before purchasing this set.
Really enjoy cooking with the Anolon Advanced.
Like the cookware so much that we ordered additional pieces.

I bought this set after many years [and 3 different sets] of T-Fal. I must say, it was a bit difficult to get used to the difference in weight between these and the T-Fal I was so used to. But, I am sure glad I switched. This cookware is great and I really am happy with it. The only thing that could be improved is the lid system: 1. The lids don't sit well when you want to just open them a crack to let steam out - they keep wanting to slide down back into the closed position, and 2. none of the lids fit the fry pans. Now, this second issue may be nothing to most people. But, my family and I like "basted" eggs - where you put a little water in the fry pan, cover tightly and let the eggs steam. This is very difficult to do with the Anolon fry pans because they don't get a tight fit. T-Fal, on the other had, have lids that fit both pots and fry pans, and they fit securely on the fry pans to steam eggs easily. Oh yes, and be careful when you lift an Anolon lid - make sure you keep it over the pot, or the condensation will drip all over your stove. T-Fal lids have a lip to catch the condensation. That was another thing that took some getting used to.
I've had this Anolon set for over two years and I do a lot of cooking and canning. It has held up very well and looks almost brand new. T-Fal, on the other hand, would need to be replaced by now. Quality-wise, this set is very good.

I have been very pleased with this cookware. It does a great job cooking anything and everything, with or without oils or butters. The big ones are a little heavier, so it's tough to tilt and spoon out of it with one hand, but that would be the same on any large piece of cookware. I recommend it to anybody. I'm sure it will last me years to come!

We purchased this cookware about 3 months ago and use it on a gas stove.
Pros - Well constructed, non-stick surface, heats evenly and very quickly on gas stove, glass lids for checking of contents, handles stay cool, cleans easily with soap and water, lifetime limited warranty
Cons - According to manufacturer info, not dishwasher safe and oven safe to only 350 degrees
Overall - We would rate it a solid 5 if it had a higher oven heat tolerance and was dishwasher safe

Nice heavy duty pots and pans. The non stick is amazing both inside and out. It practically cleans itself! I was a little apprehensive about not being able to pop in the dishwasher, but it hasn't been a problem at all. I have even left the pans for two days before washing. Just soaked for a few minutes in hot water and wiped clean as a whistle.
The 12 piece is a nice starter set that I am still adding to. I bought the now discontinued pasta pot, 14" open fry (which works wonderful as a stir fry-just use my large pizza pan as a lid), the mini au gratins and received the 5 quart casserole as a free gift. My next purchase will be the 18x10 griddle to replace the piece of junk I received when I bought my new glass top stove.
The selling points for me were the clear glass lids to be able to see what's in the pot, and the rubber grips on the pan handles and lids. I don't like burning my fingers because I always forget to grap a pot holder first. They are oven safe to 375 and I usually don't cook too much over that temp any way.
I would definitely recommend this item.
