Nice speakers, but be careful about size
These speakers look first-class, especially for the price. The magnets are huge. Unfortunately, I bought them for a 1999 Subaru, and they were just a tiny bit too big. According to my installer, some Hondas and Subarus use a 6-inch door speaker instead of the usual 6.5-incher.
I had to exchange these for the only 6-inchers I could find, a pair of two-way Kickers,...

Not bad for cheap speakers
These are replacing stock speakers in a GMC Yukon, which were put back in when I put my pioneers in a different vehicle. They are not bad for cheap speakers; way better than stock but not as nice as the pioneers. Lots of midrange and treble, not much midbass or bass. These are bright yellow, so they show up even under the stock vehicle grilles. (Why do speakers all...

Nice speakers, but be careful about size, March 4, 2010

I had to exchange these for the only 6-inchers I could find, a pair of two-way Kickers, which appear to be of similar quality and price.
If you drive a Japanese car, make absolutely sure a 6.5-inch speaker will fit. If not, buy the Kickers.

Awsome Product, January 13, 2009
This review is from: PYLE PLG6.2 6.5-Inch 240 Watt Two-Way Speakers (Electronics)
These speakers sound great! For me they could use a little more bass but they have the rubber surround and are a great speaker for the money.

Not bad for cheap speakers, August 13, 2010
This review is from: PYLE PLG6.2 6.5-Inch 240 Watt Two-Way Speakers (Electronics)
(Why do speakers all still come with grilles? When was the last time someone cut a hole in a door panel and put a speaker in, rather than replacing a factory speaker behind a factory grille?) The baskets are fairly thin stamped steel, easily bent. I'm feeding them from a Clarion CZ500 head unit with a claimed 19w RMS. Eh. The lack of midbass is noticeable, maybe it'd be better with more power.
If you're looking for a direct factory replacement speaker, you could do worse than these. You do get what you pay for though.
