Not recommended
This product worked only for two weeks then quit. I ended up paying extra to send it back.

Excellent Product, June 13, 2008
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
I owned my SecureAir 1200 for almost a year when the UV light stopped working. A quick e-mail to the company along with a copy of my original sales receipt and within a week I had a new unit.
I stongly recommend SecureAir to anyone who wants to eradicate unhealthy germs in their environment. Since I have been using SecureAir, the air in my bedroom not only smells better, it smells healthier!

Better than 3M, December 5, 2008
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
I have Secure Air, 3M Filtrete FO3 and Sharper Image Ionic Breeze. The Secure Air improve my breathing when I have a cold or allergy. The 3M Filtrete only trap dusts. I don't feel the difference when my Sharper Image is on or off. I rate them Secure Air > 3M Filtrete > Sharper Image.

no product support, February 5, 2008
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
I purchased two of these in May 2007. I use them infrequently. I believe the principal is good but the fan has broken and although under warranty I cannot get a response from the manufacturer. I sent two e-mails and called twice. An electronic message was taken but no one called back.

Great News, January 31, 2010
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
This is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I had constant head drainage. I would wake up each morning with my head stopped up. As I went about my daily business the condition would disappear until the next morning and it would start all over again. I had this problem for so long that I had begun to think of it as normal. I put the Secureair in my bedroom and POW ZOOM the next morning and each morning after I have been clear. It advertises that it removes mold, spores, mildew, dust, etc - I don't know what the cause of my problem was but I do know the result. When this one wears out I will buy another!

I want to like this product, January 16, 2010
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
I really want to like this product. It worked great for 3 weeks. Tried to follow the directions to changed the filter and change the UV-C bulb that stopped working. NO response from the company. 3 emails, 2 phone calls. Very discouraging with little service help. The filters are NOT easily removed. The locking ring barely rotates and you need tools to get the filters out and to put them back in properly. The picture diagram of the fitlers shows a grey color for the carbon filter (which is actually black) and a black filter for the Electrostatic filter (which is actually grey). For the price, the initial unit should have a replacement of each included in the box or at least replacements available at POS (point of sale) retailer. Shipping Mercury filled bulbs is rather hazardous, especially if I need to return a defective bulb. So if the company is reading this, please advise on how to get real service. I really want to like this product.

The Art of Deception, June 13, 2010
This review is from: Secureair SA1200 UVGI Room Air Sterilizer (Kitchen)
The Air Sterilizer seems to be working well, but I have an issue with the company that sold and shipped it to me.
This item was advertised as being "NEW", and that it why I purchased it, but when it was delivered, it was not in a Factory Sealed Box, there was No Instruction Book included, No warranty Paperwork, and it was very poorly packaged.
This was the first and last time that I will buy something through Amazon.com.
The vendor, in this case, has deceived Amazon and me. I just don't think that I could put my trust in Amazon, as the "Middleman", in future transactions.
