Does almost everything
We bought this for our new twin girls, thinking they would each have a bassinet. Turns out, at only 5.5lbs each, they share one side and we put clothes, blankets, diapers and such in the other side. So, it works out well.
The only thing that I wish it did, is go flat accross with no divider, but at the high level, not on the bottom. So that the girls could play and...

The only thing that I wish it did, is go flat accross with no divider, but at the high level, not on the bottom. So that the girls could play and stretch a bit and still be up a bit to make them easy to reach.
Over all, it's great. It's also the only one I found that has the double bassinet, it will come in handy as they grow.

Not Portable!, November 24, 2007
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
This thing should be labeled "Setup and Stay"! It is insanely complex to setup and clumsy to carry. Once setup, it seems only marginally stable.
We're expecting twins, so we decided to get this double-bassinet product. However, after trying to set it up and pack it up a few times, we've decided it would be much more practical to use two smaller single bassinet playpens.
I was able to setup the single bassinet (Graco Bermuda) within about two minutes. When traveling with it, we will probably opt not to carry all of the accessories -- just the playpen and bassinet.
The twin-bassinet Graco Scout takes a good 10 minutes to setup, with clanking parts. It does not offer an easily-portable option, either. You must carry along all of the overly complex and cumbersome parts. Setting this thing up is like building a piece of furniture from Ikea -- HORRIBLE instructions that make no sense and skip steps. If you do get this thing, good luck inserting the wooden divider into the bassinet every time you take it apart! (You'll see what I mean!) The assembly seems like something you should only have to do once and never deal with again -- but that's not the case! You have to go through this nightmare of a setup EVERY time you 'pack'!
Instead of this complex twin-bassinet, I would like to see a divider insert for single bassinets -- something to put down the middle to divide it into two. Most twins tend to be a bit smaller initially anyway.
The playpen design is great -- a few clicks and the playpen is setup. The bassinets, however, do not have the same great design. They have confusing parts and a lot of work. Honestly, it doesn't look that comfortable or sturdy after it's setup.
Don't get this monster! Get two smaller, portable bassinets instead.

Great product, June 8, 2008
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
We received this for our twin girls and loved it! They slept together in one side for the first few months (we kept blankets, diapers, etc on the other side); then they each had a side but could still hear/sense each other which they seemed to like. It was a bit challenging the first few times to change the sheet with the bassinets but it did get better with practice. Liked that there were 2 bassinets so the girls could continue to be close togther. Would definitely recommend to someone expecting twins. The only time we travelled the girls were older so we were just using the bottom (and we had to use 2).

Skip it, January 29, 2009
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
Unless you plan to travel with them when they are tiny or need a daily nap spot other than their cribs this isn't necessary or worth it. You can't just use the top part without the bassinets as one big space - it might have been useful a little longer if it could have. It doesn't work very well for changing diapers because of the bassinets.
Also regular pnp sheets don't fit this and I've yet to see sheets for this in a store (so get them on here when you do buy it).
I think you would be better just going ahead and getting two basic pnp for traveling. They are going to outgrow the weight limit of the bassinets quickly and they are going to want their own space. When we took our first trip with them at 6 months we had to borrow two pnpbecause they couldn't sleep together without waking each other up.
Mine is by my door as a holding spot to get them in and out of the car/house when I'm alone. For that it's been useful, but no more so than a regular PNP.

Very convenient!, January 1, 2008
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
As the mother of twins, I found this product to be quite sturdy and reliable. Cleaning up major spitups was sometimes challenging, but, overall not too bad. Having a place where both of my (preemie) babies could be placed safely was very handy. Setup was easy and we're still using the main section as a playard. The fact that one side has wheels made it even easier to use!

Size great for twins but sags towrds the middle, August 2, 2009
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
I got this Pack n Play as a replacement for a cradle for my 10 week old twins. They were sharing a cradle during their first 2 1/2 months. I loved my cradle for moving it to and from the bedroom to the living room but it was time to move on. Now, I have the Graco pack n play in the living room and they use a crib for night.
Pros:
The pack n play is wonderful because they each have their own section and are no longer kicking each other. Its big enough for them both to be sleeping in it. It was not *that* hard to put together.
Cons:
Biggest con is that is sags towards the middle so both girls tend to roll to the center like a bad, soft mattress. Do they mind it? Not really although you want to be careful that they don't get stuck with their bodies pushed up against the center wall.
Also, don't expect to move this. It is large enough that it doesn't fit through standard door ways. Once we put it up in the living room, it stays in the living room. I think we could probably break it down to take on vacation and put it up once in a hotel room or grandparents house but I would not want to break it down and put it up new everyday. It's not that portable. Also, it a struggle to put a sheet on. Nice thing is it fits a crib sheet pretty well.
Unknown --
I haven't tried to use this as a playpen yet so perhaps it won't sag when I do that.
Would I buy it again? Probably because they just isn't anything better on the market for twins.

Not portable, March 8, 2009
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
I got this because I am due to have twins in April and thought it would be great for when I was visiting family and such. Now that I have the thing together I will probably never take it apart for travel. It was a pain to assemble the bassinets and while I can see that it collapses and travels well it is just too much work to put it back together. So, for myself, this wont travel until I'm to point of using only the play pen.

Don't Bother with the Twin Pack 'N Play - Get Two Single Ones, February 18, 2009
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
The design of this Pack 'N Play is nice, although if I had it to do over again, I would probably just purchase two single Pack 'N Plays for my twins. The separated sleeping bassinet looks cute, and works fine, but in reality, your twins don't need a divider - by the time they are strong enough to roll around the bassinet, they will likely be too heavy to be sleeping in it. I've also heard/seen from friends with twins that the babies sleep just fine right next to each other - just like they put them in the hospital. Plus, having two Pack 'N Plays can be a big plus later on - you may want to have your babies sleeping in separate rooms, or locate them at different places during the day (like one in a bedroom while napping and the other in the living room with you while they are awake). And, when you travel with them, you will need two sleeping areas once they get too big to share one, which isn't long. I also had a devil of a time trying to find the sheet that goes with this - and I only had one option.
Functionally, this is a well-built portable crib, that is easy to set up and take down, and is just as compact as a single P'nP (excluding the bassinet).
We still use the twin Pack 'N Play as a traveling crib for one of our babies, but I would probably have been better off buying two smaller ones.

Loved It!, June 30, 2010
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
I love this pack n' play. It have two pack n'plays. This one is much bigger than the regular pack n' play but I still only put one toddler in it. It is sturdy but folds up to not much larger than a single pack n' play.

Handy and attractive, October 3, 2008
This review is from: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Twin Bassinet in Scout (Baby Product)
I bought this for my daughter who is expecting twins. So although she has not yet had the chance to use it, it will be a very handy way to accomodate her two baby boys in a very small house. It looks quite sturdy enough to do the job.
