I bought these speakers to connect to my soul cycle bicycle stereo system that I use on group social bike rides. Most 6 x 9 car speakers are heavy and not waterproof. These are light, waterproof and they sound at least as good as my last pair of infinity 6 x 9 two way speakers-that weren't waterproof. I put these speakers on my xtracycle bike with my Down Low Glow Lighting Kit - Two Tubes-Envy(green) side visibility neon lights for cruiser rides.
